We bought a southern motion rocker recliner in May 2017. Shortly after it arrived a loud snapping sound started when you were rocking, a service man came out and sprayed a bunch of wd40 all over the springs.

This did absolutely nothing. After replacing the base (which took 5 weeks to get) of the chair and several more visits it was determined the brand new chair coudn’t Be fixed. They ordered a new one and it came the wrong color (this took six weeks). They ordered another one which I just received and the footrest comes out on its own when you rock.

The loud snapping sound also accompanies this fine piece of furniture!

What a piece of junk! I will sit on a five gallon pail before I ever buy southern motion again!

My intent was to purchase a sofa recliner nice beautiful color made from this company, I am very glad I came across these reviews. God is watching over me tonight and making sure I know what kind of sofa I would be getting for the amount of $2500 not including tax.
