My wife and I purchased a new top of the line Southern Motion leather couch and love seat, from American Furniture Warehouse in Myrtle Beach, SC just over one year ago now. Also purchased the additional warranty that was served up, and sold to us at time of purchase, so we would be covered.

Now we are being told that we are just weeks out of the original manufactures warranty, and that the additional warranty we purchased, does not cover dye/color rubbing off the furniture with normal use. The arm rest area on the side of the couch my wife normally sits on, looks horrible from the dye wearing off. We paid almost $4,000.00 total out the door for this purchase of two pieces of furniture, and we are absolutely livid that neither the furniture store, the manufacture, nor the warranty company, will make this good to us.

Very sad way of handling a situation like this from a consumers stand point. We feel like were taken by every party involved.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $4000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Southern Motion Furniture Pros: I liked just disappointed in fabric.

Southern Motion Furniture Cons: Cannot find any phone number to contact them, Very bad quality - does not hold up, Material used on the furniture, Warranty, Sofa.
