I contacted the furniture store where I purchased this recliner (Audubon Furniture Mart in Audubon, Iowa) and they informed me the best they could do was take a picture of the wear and send it in to the manufacturer.They said I could get as much as $100 refunded and could purchase a new recliner loveseat The original price of this loveseat was $989.00.

They also stated that there was no way to repair the damage occurring and that it would just continue to get worse. I am a 77 year old widow on a fixed income recovering from breast cancer. My husband was a career navy veteran. I was told when I purchased this piece that the cover was virtually indistructible.

I am not in a position financially to purchse a new piece of furniture with just a $100.00 refund.

Is there any recourse?The store told me they had received 100's of complaints about this leather covering.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $989.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

The same happened to ours not happy with there products.


Funny same thing is happening with mine and they are 60 days old. Company said it’s my fault for rubbing it too hard!
