I purchased 2 Sothern Motion recliners from Bernie & Phils furniture in New Hampshire. They have replaced both of them once in less than a year.
The first one, the chair was mounted to the frame incorrectly, so when you reclined back you got a rocky ride (twist motion). The mechanics of it were screwed up. The other one, again, the mechanism was not functioning right and the head rest was so crooked, one side was about 2" lower than the other. Now I look at the replacement recliner and the middle stitching doesn't line out.
What's going on with their quality control? These recliners were over $1000 each. Bernie & Phils moving company tells us, no more replacing lol! Even though the chairs come to us defected.
We bought mainly because these are made in the United States. Now my guess is I'm going to have difficulties getting in touch with this company.
